Door-to-door dog adventures
Dog adventures in Preston
Preston proper is on the map. From Wednesday 2 September the Bark Bus collects door-to-door across PR1 and PR2 — the city centre, Fulwood, Ashton, Ingol, Ribbleton — and the south-side PR5 villages have been core coverage all along. First stop on the new Preston route, and we promise this is its real name: Dog Kennel Wood, in Cuerden Valley. Some things are meant to be.
City dogs need it most. A whole morning off-lead-where-allowed in a group of no more than twelve — six dogs to each qualified walker, matched by temperament, never crated on the bus. Each dog rides harnessed in their own pup pod with a window seat, and you watch the bus on a live map the whole way.
Preston & Longridge adventures open with a Wednesday-afternoon first run on 2 September, then settle into Thursday afternoons, with more days opened as routes fill; the PR5 side rides Monday, Wednesday and Friday with Chorley & South Ribble. The destination is published ahead in the calendar; photos from the day arrive in your dashboard the same evening, along with a short honest note on how your dog got on.

Preston & Longridge coverage is PR1, PR2 and the Longridge side of PR3, door to door, from 2 September. The PR5 river-south villages — Walton-le-Dale, Bamber Bridge, Lostock Hall, Higher Walton — remain core Chorley & South Ribble coverage. Penwortham, Hutton and Longton (PR4) are still waiting-list territory; the postcode checker on the booking page always has the current answer.
