What does it cost from Longridge?

The same as the rest of Preston & Longridge: £25 per dog all-in — collection from your door, the adventure, photos and drop-off. Memberships bring the per-ride price down.

My dog has never been in a group — will they cope?

Groups are matched by temperament before the bus is loaded, introductions happen on-lead with a qualified walker to every six dogs, and nervous dogs get a gentler group. The honest note with the photos tells you exactly how it went.

Longridge dogs live with a fell on the doorstep and, from 2 September, a big yellow bus at the bottom of Berry Lane. The Bark Bus collects door-to-door across Longridge, Grimsargh and the villages on the Longridge side of PR3, and heads for the kind of ground this town already knows is good: a fell day, a beach day, a forest day or a secure field day, picked the night before once we've seen the weather.

An adventure is a whole afternoon, not a loop of the rec. Groups are capped at twelve with a qualified walker to every six dogs, matched by temperament; on the fell it's leads near the sheep and proper sniffing everywhere else. Every dog rides harnessed in a pup pod with a window seat — no crates — and you follow the bus on a live map from collection to drop-off.

Runs are Thursday afternoons to start, more days as routes fill. Photos from the day land in your dashboard the same evening, with a short honest note about how your dog got on — who they palled up with, whether the mud won.

We collect from Longridge town, Grimsargh and the near side of PR3, door to door. The far rural end of PR3 — Chipping, Garstang way — is outside the pickup radius for now; the postcode checker on the booking page gives a straight answer, and the waiting list genuinely steers where we stretch next.
