Door-to-door dog adventures

Dog adventures in Longridge

Longridge dogs live with a fell on the doorstep and, from Thursday 10 September, a big yellow bus at the bottom of Berry Lane. The Bark Bus collects door-to-door across Longridge, Grimsargh and the villages on the Longridge side of PR3, and heads for the ground this town already knows is good: the fell above it, Beacon Fell across the valley, and the woods at Cuerden — including one called, genuinely, Dog Kennel Wood.

An adventure is a whole afternoon, not a loop of the rec. Groups are capped at twelve with a qualified walker to every six dogs, matched by temperament; on the fell it's leads near the sheep and proper sniffing everywhere else. Every dog rides harnessed in a pup pod with a window seat — no crates — and you follow the bus on a live map from collection to drop-off.

Runs are Thursday afternoons to start, more days as routes fill. Photos from the day land in your dashboard the same evening, with a short honest note about how your dog got on — who they palled up with, whether the mud won.

  • Door-to-door — we collect and return your dog at home

  • Small matched groups, six dogs to a qualified walker

  • Live map from pickup to drop-off

  • Photos from every adventure by 4pm

Where Longridge dogs go

Real adventures, not laps of the block

Longridge Fell

the home fell — forest tracks, the Spire Hill trig and the whole Ribble Valley below.

Beacon Fell Country Park

ten minutes over the valley; forest trails and fell air.

Dog Kennel Wood (Cuerden Valley)

named for us before we existed — woodland, lake and riverside.

Avenham & Miller Parks

Preston's riverside classics for a city-safari change of scene.

The day's destination is published a week ahead on the adventure calendar, so you choose the trips your dog will love most.

Collection area

PR3

We collect from Longridge town, Grimsargh and the near side of PR3, door to door. The far rural end of PR3 — Chipping, Garstang way — is outside the pickup radius for now; the postcode checker on the booking page gives a straight answer, and the waiting list genuinely steers where we stretch next.
